a big thankyou to Andrew and Sophie at Squires of Nantwich for their support. I have a couple of the larger paintings up in the salon along with some valuable publicity information. All work for sale raising valuable funds for the charity.

these might be my first paintings for the Joshua tree house, at last I feel I am starting to understand my subject. They are also my first venture into using oils for this project. It is wonderful stuff to manipulate, especilly when using pure turpentine as my mixing medium. Such a wonderful smell!!!

one of the many wonderful paintings of Antoni Tapies, lost to us last week but will always play such a valuable role in my creativity

it feels like a long time since the last post, and I have missed making my work over the Christmas period, it couldnt have come at a worse time for me as I was well focussed on the paintings. Anyway since my solo trip to London I have been back with my students, which was wonderful. And even more exciting……we have just been to Madrid with the Spanish department. We had a brilliant time both in the city and on out journeys out to Segovia and to El Escorial. The mountains were beautiful. i have also discovered app’s for my ipod which are just fantastic (thanks to Mac and steph) So I will be back in the studio sharpish this week with more ideas.
