Getting very excited about the forthcoming exhibition. Massive thanks to Daniel at bailey arts at dagfield craft centre, Daniel is framing all my small works (and some of the larger canvasses) so expecting the sow to look good. Also massive thanks to Liam, Vicki and the rest of the blue box team for doing such a good job in organising the show.

A very good day in the studio….. It was one of those days when everything worked even when it went wrong
I wasn’t to happy with the overpowering nature of this tree … Even though the trees are very important at the site of the Joshua tree house… I felt that this tree was simply too strong
Detail
The tree is a paynes grey blue mix. I was,and still am, a bit concerned its a bit strong. It can be softened. A tree will live in the sister canvas… The two will need the balence.
Introduced a new tree to last painting. Made reference to Giotto painting and its trees. Is it to strong … Comments please
