one of the key points I am learning in making this body of work is the need to experiment with ideas. this painting is exactly that, whilst it is not holding together, I am gaining an understanding of colour that i have not had before. And as I have already stated, the painting has shown a need to introduce a stronger narrative.

14th November; a good day in the studio, worked on the smaller images, introducing new colours in an attempt to broaden the depth of the image. this image is the first JOSHUA TREE image to reach public viewing. It is framed and living in Chris Jeffery’s office (headmaster of the Grange) Shameless publicity I know!!!
