Red
Had a good session in the studio, really enjoyed playing with the red…. Using it in a physical manner, throwing, pouring, wiping. Ended up having to spend ages cleaning the studio after a torrent of vermillion spread across the walls and tables……. But well worth it
It needed it!!!
Had to do something, felt the painting was on the verge of boredom before even getting going. Makes me think a little harder…….
Stolen hour
Managed to fit a bit of time in the studio to work on the painting. Changed the top section as I felt it was a little stagnant in the blue. Starting to feel right…….
Early morning in the studio
What a great way to start the day. Building some base layers on the new large painting , then lower sixth textiles followed by 3rd years and henna tattoos. And it’s only 11.30am……
Back in the studio
Back to my normal monday nights in the studio. Started two new pieces. Building in some energy with some less controlled brush strokes. Next phase already underway…….
Headmasters award
